Cranberry

Benefits

1. Cranberries may help prevent urinary tract infections (UTIs) by inhibiting the adhesion of bacteria, such as Escherichia coli, to the urinary tract walls.

2. An analysis revealed the protective effect of cranberry juice against UTIs, while consumption of carbonated soft drinks was associated with an increased risk of UTIs.

3. Cranberries may have beneficial effects on cardiovascular health due to their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

4. Some studies have shown a decrease in LDL cholesterol levels with cranberry consumption.
